Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss how members of Congress and the SEC are approaching and working on the top legislative issues most important to public companies as mentioned above.
  • Explain how IROs can educate their senior management on these top issues and support NIRI in its efforts to support legislative and regulatory initiatives beneficial to public companies.
  • Review how IROs can work with other constituencies, including other parts of their organizations as well as NIRI National and other NIRI chapters, to advance these important issues.

The NIRI Virtual Chapter’s Advocacy Chair, Laura Guerrant-Oiye, will be moderating this event. If you have any questions that you would like to have addressed in advance, please reach out at Advocacy@NIRIVirtual.org.
