Conference Scholarship

Exclusive Scholarship Opportunity for NIRI Virtual Chapter Members!

The NIRI Virtual Chapter is proud to offer its members the consideration to be awarded a scholarship to attend the NIRI Annual Conference.

A NIRI Virtual Chapter Conference Scholarship provides a complimentary registration to the NIRI Annual Conference to a member who otherwise would be unable to attend the national conference (travel not included). All Virtual Chapter members who are members in good standing as of the conference are eligible to apply.

What is the NIRI Annual Conference?

The NIRI Annual Conference is the largest gathering of investor relations professionals in the world. Take advantage of continuing education and networking opportunities by joining more than 1,000 peers from across the United States and around the globe.

How do I apply for a scholarship?

In 200 words or less, please describe why you believe you merit a NIRI VC Conference Scholarship, why you want to attend, expected benefits of attending, whether you have attended the conference in the past with related learnings and attest that you are not getting reimbursed for this year’s conference.  Part of the decision will be based on the level of engagement with the chapter (participation in our educational programming and/or Cafe Chats, etc.), membership status, recognition of prior service, and future goals of the applicant. Please provide your name, company, address, phone number and email address. Email your submission to us at: admin@nirivirtual.org .

What is the application deadline?

Application deadlines will be announced in early spring via newsletter or on this website. You can sign up for NIRI Virtual Newsletters by emailing admin@nirivirtual.com.

How will scholarship applications be judged?

All entries will be treated confidentially and evaluated by members of the NIRI Virtual Chapter Board.  Applications will be judged on content, merit, and financial need.  This is a discretionary award.  The board may choose to award no scholarships or multiple, depending on the submissions.
